About E2E

Who We Are

Wellington E2E Centre Inc. is a New Zealand-registered charitable community benefit trust. Since 2020, we have proudly served as the Education-to-Employment (E2E) Lead, delivering innovative career aspiration programmes that support Wellington schools in empowering young people to believe in and achieve their goals for meaningful study, work and lives.

Background

After over 20 years of providing foundational tertiary education, we are partnering with Wellington schools and youth-friendly employers to shift our focus to prevention and empowerment.

Our Board:

Josie Adlam - Strategist

isionary and experienced leader with a deep commitment to seeing emerging and innovative businesses succeed. Her personal motivation in providing governance services as an independent director is to support and accelerate business growth. She chairs and co-chairs several boards, including Magnetism Solutions, Sustainability Trust, Tautoko Services and Lottery Community Committee - Wellington/Wairarapa.

Nathaniel Rowe - Māori Advisor

Nate is the their Culture and Capability Principal Advisor. Nate is also a member of Ngā Taonga mai Tawhiti Regional Kapa Haka rōpū and is a Kairaranga (weaver) for of his Local Marae in Pōneke Paparārangi. "My pono is that Te Tiriti o Waitangi is a representation of our past but also the now and future that ties the fabric of our national identity of Aotearoa New Zealand together.

Carey Teng

Carey an entrepreneur, the Founder and Director of the Making Futures Happen Institute (NZQA registered tertiary education provider since 2003), trading as FocusFutures. In 2021, she founded the Wellington EZE Centre Inc. to help young people learn more, be more and do more. She is also undertaking a doctoral degree at Otago University, and her business research topic is innovative youth development, directly related to the E2E Initiatives.

Shinah Kuatemane Ulutui

Shinah is the Team Leader at the Wellington E2E Centre, where she co-designs and leads programmes helping young people transition from education to employment. With a Science degree, she is passionate about the future of women in STEAMM and empowering students to thrive.

Lina McManus
